Falling for My Husband (British Billionaires #1) by Pamela Ann

Oh.My.Gosh!

Falling For My Husband by Pamela Ann...

SUCH A GOOD BOOK!

I could not put it down!!
It was the kind of book where you're only focus IS the book and those are my favorite kind!

So what's Falling For My Husband about?

Callum and Richard are BFF's.
Richard is Stella's big brother.

Richard has cancer, and
Has a dying wish...

He wants Callum to marry and protect Stella, his baby sister, until she's 26.
That's right - 26.

Richard and Stella come from a wealthy family and Richard is afraid that Stella is going to be ate up by vultures and knows that Callum can protect her.

This just so happens to work out perfectly for Callum.

You see, his girl, Zara, ran off and married another without warning and he is crushed. *Evil eye*

Knowing he'll never love again, this "situation" with Stella fits into his life plan without worry.
He knows he'll never marry.

Besides, Richard is his best friend and their family has always treated Callum like their own.
So, if this was his best friends last wish, he would provide it without question.

So Callum and Stella marry...
BUT they lead separate lives.
They date other people.
They're practically strangers.

Until...One day Callum calls Stella out of the blue and wants to see her at his office.

He needs a favor, but while they're being generous, Stella has a favor of her own!

Callum is hesitant to help her out, but eventually caves.

Now, since they've spent a short amount of time together, Callum sees that Stella has grown into a full pledged woman and his mind (and body) can't seem to stay away from her...

But does he have too?

She is his wife, and
He is her husband.

Oh. Yeeeeess....
It's sooooo good.
A must read!

Gideonisms - Bared To You

Are you guys seeing all the Gideonisms going on over on Sylvia Day's Facebook page?!?
Does this mean Captivated By You, Book 4, of the Crossfire Series will be here shortly??? I sure hope so!!
Here is just one of the MANY glimpses she's giving us from Bared To You -
"So what do you want—exactly? Seduction, Eva? Do you want to be seduced?" - Gideon, BARED TO YOU

Control Series by M.S. Willis (Control, Conflict, Conquer)

Control wasn't necessarily the story line I was expecting.
Lots of struggles, heartache, loss, lust, re-connections and hiding.

Sounds intriguing, right?
It was.
Most of the time.
BUT...(you knew that was coming!)
This was a slower read for me,
BUT...
I was sucked in at the same time.

While I was reading, I enjoyed myself, but if I had to put it down, I never experienced that freak out moment of "Where is my book!?!" - and I really do love those moments!

I never felt like things were progressing as fast as they should in some areas, but once I got to the end of "Conflict"  I had to purchase "Conquer" so there is substance here.

"Conquer", was by far my favorite book of the 3!
It really had the perfect pace, the characters were all fully developed and things really started happening!!

I really liked that with each book, I felt like I was getting more and more of where I wanted to be.

Oh!!!!  And David (who's a secondary character) - OMGosh...this guy was a HOOT!
Everyone NEEDS a friend like him in their life and he just kept getting better and better and if you can believe it funnier with each book!  I loved him and wish he was real and in my life!!

As far as the main characters -
Paige is a head strong, independent, babe, who doesn't understand the concept of "No", and
Dameon is a controlled, mysterious, playboy, with a chiseled body and beautiful face.  He's a lethal combination, really.

Dameon and Paige have both had struggles during their childhood.
Not a "normal" one, as most would classify.
Both struggled in different areas for very different, yet the same reasons...

As adults, their pasts have molded who they are today and they're drawn to each other.
However, Paige is almost repulsed by Dameon and his history of being a player.
He plagues her thoughts though, and when they keep spotting each other, you know something will come of this...of them...but what??

Paige and Dameon are both all about control, so will one of them be able to give in, and with their pasts, can they ever truly be together?

That's the money question!

Hair Bow Hairstyle for Toddlers (And Adults!) Tips & Tricks

I adore these hair bow hair styles!

This one was brought to my attention by a fellow Crafty Momma and good friend of mine.  She was just randomly showing me her daughters hair a few weeks back and I L.O.V.E.D - Loved it!

We've all seen these styles creeping all over PIN by now, but what I loved about this tutorial in particular was that it's geared towards toddlers and did not use bobby pins.  Not a single one.

SCORE!!!

After seeing her daughters pictures, my newest mission in life was try this on my dotting daughter.

You see...She USED to let me play and brush her hair all the time, (when she didn't have hair!), and now that she has a head full of it, she runs for the hills anytime she catches sight of me with the brush. *Sigh*

That being said alone, should tell you just how easy this is!!  Wee...

So here is the tutorial we used, along with some additional tips and tricks provided by me.

I (mostly) used this tutorial here and for the most part I was really happy with it.

What didn't work for us:
Using 3 rubber bands.
Again, my daughter does not like to sit still and have her hair messed with, so I felt fortunate to get the second one in!

What we did?
Just split the looped ponytail hair (as she shows) then wrapped the hair over the middle (for the bow affect) and then tied the second rubber band around as you normally would for a ponytail.

For the extra hair that we had left, I just tucked it into the second band.  Super easy!!

That being said (I also didn't leave out near the amount of hair she did for the middle bow piece.
That's also why our "bow" is bigger and fuller.

What I will try in the future?
Remember those old school Ponytail Holders?
You know, the ones with the balls on the ends, where you wrap them and them loop one of the balls over the other to secure it.
I would use those for the 2nd step!
When your bow is as full as I made mine, it took some finesse to get the 2nd rubber band around it.
Wasn't a deal breaker, but I do like to keep things simple and this seems like a great remedy!
*Cheers* Use Me!  Use Me!

Last comment I wanted to give -
We started out with dry hair.
This works for some and not for others.
Just stick to what you normally do during your hair routine and you'll be just fine!

Here, my friends, is what I like to call our "Masterpiece"!

She's just as cute and sassy as ever...and her poses as of late - ADORBS!
Bike - Check.
Baby - Check.
Shades - Check.
Purse - Check.

This buttercup of mine is all G.I.R.L
And she's mine.
All mine.
